I have a PROBLEM WITH MY character been invisible

Im running unreal tournament 4.13 and I have a wierd problem.. I've been running UT since january of 2000.. on 3 computers with no problems.. but on 04/19/00 I decided to re-do my computers.. I wipe them out and I re-installed the OS again.. win98second edition.. again like it was before same drivers on all the computer.. same old thing I do once in a while.. ok.. by the way is a PII 450, 256RAM , VIPER 550 and MONSTER 3DII, 16 megs ram.on the Video cards.. and Like I daid I have not had any problems till now that I have re-install everything agian.. this is the problem..

I play on a local network at home with my bros.. and when I host the UT server.. and we play .. my character is completely invisible.. no matter what mod we play Im invisible.. I can see everybody else but they cant see me.. if I let my bro host the game he is invisible and we cant see him... so I went and re-installed UT like 5 times. with the new patch 4.13 and the new drivers for VIPER 550 and MONSTER 3DII... and the same thing... can somebody help me please....

and like I said before.. it worked from jan 2000 till April 19, 2000....what do I do????

I played on a 413 server before I switched patches and the bots were invisable and I don't mean using the UT's invisable shield I mean no trace of them, I could lock my rocket launcher on them so I knew they were there. That happened on BoomDudes server http\\:209.163.146.43:7777 I started complaining, and everyone including myself got knocked off the server..

Try re-installing it and using the 405b patch.

This happens sometime when someone is using a model that the other player doesn't have. I installed the new Rumiko model, and was accidentally switched onto it last night. My friend logged onto a game I was hosting, and he couldn't see me at all. I switched back to my Skaarj-Hybrid model, and he STILL couldn't see me (But he could see me on other levels...oh yeah...we were in a custom level that I made...not meant to actually be used.)

So I'm not sure what the deal is. I'm sure there's a specific problem common to all of these, but I'll be darned if I can find it. (I'm running 413 also, btw...I think he is too, not 100% sure though.)
