UTXMP Server Port

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

hello, I would like to change the port by défault of the server "7777 by 8888".
I have to change in UTXMP.ini the line.
Port=7777 by Port=8888
OldQueryPortNumber=7787 by OldQueryPortNumber=8898

I do not see my server and I cannot connect myself.
have you somme idea ?

EDIT: my firewall is open for this port, and i succeeded tu run standard UT2004 serveur on this port.

What is your server-ip?
I switched Server-/Query-Port of one of my servers today and worked.

If you type "open ip:8888" in your game-console, u still can't connect?

I dont know of any reason why it shouldnt work properly, but I recalled this post by Pro^Kp in the UTXMP closed Beta forums:

Heya guys

Anyone running a server might have noticed that you cant run it on anything other than 7777 (default) port, well to run it on another port you have to set


[IpDrv.MasterServerUplink]
UplinktoGamespy=False
