BattleTech Timelines Recruiting

Hello i want to announce that BattleTech: Timelines is looking for new members. Let me fill you in a bit on us, our mod and what we would like from the community. Our team is in need of new members, so you may be in luck. However, the desire to be part of the mod is not enough for the team, we need dedication, which means being active and not just saying you want to be a part of the mod, then not submit any work. To be frank, we need skilled individuals with the ability to meet deadlines.

Here are the people we are looking for and the skills they should have.

UT2K4 Coder/UT2K4 Model Importer

- At least 6 months experience in Unreal Script, and enough ref material for those hard jobs
- Knowledge of UnrealEd and how to import and test
- And most important, know the limits of the UT engine (1024x1024 textures, ect...)
- Experince coding vehicles, weapons...ect.
- Have examples of previous work
UT2K4 Mapper
- At least 3 months experience or good examples of previous work

Modelers
- Able to use one of various 3d package and to export in needed format.
- Need to be exprience and be able to create detailed models.
- Have examples of previous work

Riggers/Animators
- Atless 3 months exprience.
- Have examples of previous work

UV Mappers/Texture artists
- Texture artists should be able to create realistic looking textures
- Have examples of previous work
As for the aim of our mod, it's simple. We want to recreate the BattleTech universe in a way no one has ever succeeded with before, although many have tried. Activision and Microsoft to name a few, none have quite gotten it right, they came close and created very enjoyable games but it was just never all there. Making a Battletech Video game that has it all there is, by which we mean not only mechs, but infantry, vehicles, aerospace. You name it, if it was in the classic board game then we intend to include it
The idea for the mod has been around for quite some time, has gone through many changes and in it's current incarnation is being developed for the Unreal Tournament 2004 game. Much progress has been made over the 2 years since it's inception and despite our small size we are getting closer and closer to a release. So we need help. Maybe you fit the bill, maybe you know someone who does, if you do drop us a line either by email or posting on our forum, leave us your relevant details, experience and contact info and someone will get back to you.
