I´m searching for a new PC and can´t decide which one is better .

The first comes with 2GB RAM and a Radeon X700 Pro .(The rest is identical to the second one) .It costs 1399 Euro (=$) .
More info and Pic is here (http://shop.mediamarkt.de/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?productId=44651&catalogId=5000&langId=-3&storeId=5000&categoryId=10002)

The second comes with 512 MB RAM and a GeForce 6610 .
It costs 999 Euro (=$) .

I´m not sure , but I think I like the second one more than the first one.
All what the PC needs is some extra RAM , but the RAM wouldn´t cost 400 Euro (=$).

Info for the second PC is here (http://www.medion.de/md8383/content.html)

Any suggestions ?

I have 1024mb RAM and i think that's enough. I also have a radeon 9800 XT and it's a good card, but not the best. It's a good computer overall, but i would like a better one. :)
Anyway, i don't think it matters which one you take, both are good!!
Make sure it's a good cooling system, cuz that is important!!

Thanks. I really thought about it and I think I buy the second one . :) .
It comes with a nice cooling system called AIR-XL.After reading both details again .The second comes with a better DVD-Burner (16x +R/-R and doublelayer) and some goodies like Bluetooth and DVB-T Decoder .

3 more days and I get it :D .

Any more suggestions ?

The second one has a DVD burner? And also a good cooling system (a must-have today)? I would buy it. But it's still on you decide :)

The cooling is especially important if it's a strong computer with a good graphics card!!

The second one is a Medion here in Denmark the Discount market ALDI buys home a bunch of Medions and sells them for a good price. And hell you get alot for those money so I wouldn't agree more in that it's a good PC. ;)

But today 512MB is getting too less with big games(also UT2k4) and 1024MB is soon a minimum for a gaming PC. I've upgraded from 512MB to 1024MB and hell it rocked the panties of my grandmother so if you buy the Medion you shure should look out for 512MB extra in the near future.

GeForce 6610 XL I doubt it's the best but good enough I would guess. I'm more into the ATi world no arguments but I am so not big suggestions and warnings about that one. I would even think the X700 Pro is better than that card.

And now here from the geek build it yourself and save some money it's mostly a better trade to build it yourself. ;) Hell I've build my own, the neighbors and my sisters PC is soon up and running :)

Yeah , the second is from Aldi .I buy it and buy 512 MB extra-RAM :D .

I built my last PC . You can´t build a PC like the one from Aldi for 999 , if you need everything new (Case , Harddisks ...) .
And on the other side , I don´t have the time to do it .

Wow, I wish I had the money for a computer with 2 Gb of ram!!! But my 512 runs all the new games just fine. How many dollars does that work out to, sad?

Oh, and the 9800xt is an awesome card! Just be happy you're not stuck with a 9600 SE like me, Titan...Oh, and if you do upgrade, try a 6800 GT or X800 in a few month, 'cause their prices are dropping like rocks!

First one. :D

Why ? The Radeon X700 ?
The second one is cheaper and I buy 512 MB extraRAM , so it´s fine for me . :)

Anyways , thank you all for your input. :)

First one. :D

You cheepy b*stard you just want the 2Gigs of RAM! :D

SaD: It's not possible because Aldi is not gaining profit on them. Also why it's a real good trade ;)

Heck I've always wanted me an Alienware sent to my door but with my wages it's not even close to being realised :( :p

Aw man, imagine: two 6800 GT's in one computer! I can't even afford one, how do expect me to buy two?!?!? Oh, and did you notice that Alienware actually offers FINANCING options! My dream machine, I did the little "build your own" thing on the AW website, worked out to, get this, $293 a month.
