ut2vote47 ERROR MESSAGE

When I go to connect to my server it gives me this error message:

CONNECTION FAILED

DOWNLOADING "ut2vote47" NOT ALLOWED

WTF?

Its not my firewall, I know for sure. its not my redirect service I think, which is http://uz2.gameservers.net/2004/

What could be causing this?
I made me a gametype without any mutators at all and placed the relivent files in the ut2004/system folder I checked and double checked my ut2vote47.ini file until I'm blue in the face. My start up .bat file is correct with no other ? commands, this was all placed in the ut2vote47.ini in its correct place.

any help would be appreciated.

WOW! thats a new one :)

First try it standard, ie no extra games etc and see what it does.
You going to have to go through a process of elimination as I have never heard of a error like that in my whole life :)

Post you UT2Vote47.ini file, your UT2004.ini and your log file or mail them to us at info@ut2vote.com and I'll see where I can help.

Just remember to stop the server before grabbing the log file else its useless.

The redirect url in your ut2004.ini should actually be:

http://uz2.gameservers.net/ut2004/

Also ensure you observe the case of your serverpackages. It should be:

Serverpackages=UT2Vote47 NOT all lowercase.

The redirect you are using will not send ut2vote47.u.uz2, it will only send UT2Vote47.u.uz2

It was the URL that I messed up.
I had:

http://uz2.gameservers.net/ut2004

I forgot the trailing "/".
