I used to be a mapper for hl (thats half-life) and i might start mapping ut2004, just need a couple of opinions, actually this is more of a poll, do you consider mapping for ut2004 difficult, and if you are like me and used to map for hl and now map for ut2004, tell me if it is really that much different (easier or tougher).

Using Worldcraft/Hammer, it's easier to shape bsp and geometry. In UED, it's very exact, and you have to use unreal units, but if you're experienced with HL mapping you should find settling into Unrealed quite easy. :)

thanks, now i think i'll try it out.
;) Maybe i'll map for the fhinv cbp ;)
edit: uh oh, i got a corrupt file error starting up, hmm maybe i'm using to much memory

You're to late for that mate, nonetheless you can still map for FHI. ;)
Perhaps we'll do a second cbp some time. :)

notice the winks in my post meaning i didn't mean that. Of course i would love to but i haven't even familiarized myself with the UED yet, but if you do make another one however..... ;) but thats a long ways off
