That is a sweet, sweet skin! I kept laughing every time I saw you with it the other day.

I probably won't be able to make it at all this weekend. Today's my wife's birthday, so I don't dare play tonight. Tomorrow my parents are coming in for a week visit from FL.

Edit - Han, you need to do a little house cleaning in your PM box.

For the first time ever, I am actually going to be playing at FragBU. FEAR.

In anticipation, I kindly request that everyone install the Nikki skin (http://perso.wanadoo.fr/loric23/Download/Nikki11/dlNikki11.htm) and the Merc Female One (http://download.beyondunreal.com/fileworks.php/voiceshrine/FemaleOneVoice2k4.zip) voice pack, if you wish to see me in proper duds tonight. (Plus, seeing as how it's a Loric skin and one of the best UT99 voices EVER, you have no reason not to download them anyway.)

Does that skin have team colors?

Typically at FragBU we DM about 5% of the time if that, so if we installed it and there's no teamskin it'll be very difficult to tell what team you're on.

Yeah, sorry about grendelkeep there. I did ask if you wanted to switch the teams at one point, but it seemed to go unnoticed.

Although I'm not that fond of AS, it is nice to have some more maps for it on the server. We seem to play it plenty, and playing AS-Glacier three times a night gets kind of old.
Now we just need more good JB maps.

Great games all, I had a blast. :) JB was always great, we had some HELLA close CTF matches, and we even got some TDM in. \o/ Although the frag limit could be a bit higher (80 maybe?) Also, REDIRECT on the custom maps would be outstanding. ;)

Oh, and if you see Dark Pulse lurking, give 'em truffles.

Recap:

-All of the ONS games except Dawn were totally one sided. Fun, but one sided.

-CTF games: yeah, you must have missed 'em DaBeatard. I played GrendelKeep, LavaGiant, EternalCaves, Maul, and Arid. Would liked to have played more.

-TDM: pretty lost as usual.

-All the Jailbreak maps were close and competetive. Good stuff.

And remember, people... don't forget to try some new maps!

Lots of good games this weekend.
Anyway, for most of Friday and the first few hours of Saturday I keep getting worked up, overly annoyed, and pissed off for no reason, and I'd like to apologize for that.

Anyway, some quotes from tonight:

golden_dragon(drunk): oh wait: i'm speccing: i can't shoot :(

(After Taleweaver got the top score for a match while he was drunk)
golden_dragon(drunk): how come a drunk guy gots the highest score?

isn't this really great: I come home, filled with beer and Smirnoff ice, looking for a couple fun games, and what is the first map that is played? BR-Skyline. Skyline, FFS. Not only is it BR, a gametype that requires more fast decisions and translocator traveling than any other gametype (well...it is if I play it), but also a low-gravity map. At the end of that game, I was drunkener than before.
Playing drunk is fun, but I just had the terrible tendency to speak...even when I was the flag carrier (damn you The_listener! I should never replied you about those teleporters)
And now for some screenie fun:

well, after this weekend. I think we should ban Raffi from assault altogether. really, we could have the most lop sided teams, hell, raffi could be the only person on his ****ing team, and he would still win. He is seriously a unfair advantage, and should be forced into spectator mode. ;)

Heh, I had a blast myself playing last night. I just might have to make it a regular killing field once a week.

Don't think I did too bad against you boys, but I've learned a couple things:

1) Haarg + Flak Cannon = Nasty things.

2) M&Ms either cannot be hit or I got just plain bad luck.

3) SpineblaZe is Manta fodder. ;p

I'm sure he'll hate me for that comment. :)

Heh...I've learned a few things around here too :-)
-CTF: Haarg+our flag = one terrible chase
-AS: Raffi+ion tank= ownage
-AS: Hyrulian+hellbender=car accident
-JB: jail release+enemies close by = llamatizing
-MUT: Turns2Ashes+Longbow (KenjiE20) = no chance to become the bottom feeder
-LMS/JB: Zxanphorian = camping spots on the most unusual places
-BR = uneven teams
-any: me + booze = lots of typing

I've had that happen quite a few times. It was more prevalent in Rainbow Six 3, which had some really crappy Karma deaths. By far the coolest Karma thing I've come across is the "fly paper" in the jail of JB-NoSense. Karma gets stuck in it, so you can do things like this:

No, no. That would ruin the whole "My God! It's Ion Raffi! Run for your lives!!" fun of it all. Your Ion ownage has become kind of a FragBU tradition. Besides, it's a great way to shed a few unwanted pounds. ;)

No, no. That would ruin the whole "My God! It's Ion Raffi! Run for your lives!!" fun of it all. Your Ion ownage has become kind of a FragBU tradition. Besides, it's a great way to shed a few unwanted pounds. ;)

For my wife's birthday I drew her a bubble bath. She thought I was just being thoughtful, but it was an excuse to get in one match this weekend. ;)

Hal - sorry about that flag snafu on Bridge of Fate Friday night. I was carrying the flag and had something like 20 health, so I x-loc'ed to drop the flag so that you could pick it up. I didn't happen to notice that Funkblast was right behind us.

Ooops. :hmm:
