View Full Version : My idea for a mutator

What would be cool in my opinion would be a Doom 2 monster pack. Doom 2 is one of my favorite games ever made and it would be fun to fight those monsters in FHI. You could have the zombie guys replace the shock rifle dudes, you could have the Barons of Hell replace warlords, etc. For boss levels you could have a Spider Mastermind or a Cyberdemon spawn and attack you. It might just be me, but I remember the sound of an arachnotron coming at me being one of the scariest sounds in any game I played.

In a way i would like doom 64 TC better but thats my opinion and they dont have 3D Models like the doom2 monsters but ive been thinking of something like this for a LONG time

Yeah but Doom 2 was better than any other doom - it had better enemies, the super shotgun, and best music too. The level design was amazing, and the gameplay was also great. I never tried Doom 64, was it like Doom1?

It had cooler looking enemies and it had super shotgun and the unmaker (With all 3 powerups its 3 times powerful as the bfg) and a badass monster that makes cyberdemon look like ****. I look for pics

The weapons and monsters do look cooler, but what's with the cacodemon? It looks like a muppet... :rolleyes: and does the mancubus' brain still come out of its skull when it's killed? I'll have to set my N64 back up and try that game out sometime :) .

The link at the bottom of this post has a download for doom64 Total conversion if you have doom2 so you wont need the n64 and cacodemon looks a lot more menacing in doom64 than in doom2 :P there are a few new badies not in the guide in the TC

Nightmare Cacodemon: Big brother of the normal Cacodemon, Extremely fast and can sometimes be extremely hard to see cause of its transluscent body
Takes 4 rockets to take out this mofo

Nightmare Demon: Much stronger than a normal demon, can take as many hits as a hell night and its attack speed is twice as fast as a normal demon
3 rockets to take this badass out

OH I KNEW it was missing something! The revenant! And the archvile is missing too? Those were two of the scariest enemies in any game I've played. DL'ing now... Still it would be cool if someone could make a mutator so you could fight the enemies in FHINV... of course i can neither skin nor model nor code ;)
