My plane got in at 12:30AM this morning. I've been up for about 24 hours straight now, and most of it has been spent lugging heavy things, waiting in terminals, or sitting on planes. I'm dead tired.

The 'con was outstanding. Best time I can recall having in recent memory. There were a surprising number of hotties in attendance.

Oh, and I got a bitchin' katana set at the dealer's room. It's up on top of my computer desk now, looking snazzy as hell.

42) Afterwards, everyone mingled.

43) It probably seems wierd for all of you to see people walking around in costume, but I was used to it at that point. In fact, it seems strange now for people not to be in costume.

44) That dude's sword was awesome.

45) I didn't know who half these people were or what series' their costumes were from, but that didn't stop me from taking their picture.

47) There were Rikkus aplenty throughout the 'con. It was probably the most common costume there.

51) We met Homestar chillin' by the steps on the way back inside.

52) And the Aqua Teen Hunger Force!

53) This is where we eat for the evening. I had a phat pina colada and a bowl of clam chowder. My buddy had baked flounder stuffed with crab meat. It was great.

54) Afterwards, we got in line for the cosplay Masquerade. In hindsight, it might've been better to get there an hour earlier.

55) 45 minutes later, we've almost reached the door. A steady stream of people had been moving in the whole time, and I was amazed there was any room left.

56) We were seated in about the 700th row. Good thing for my camera's 3X zoom...

57) The first act starts. After it ended, the announcer reminded the audience that flash photography wasn't allowed. I was sad.

58) So I turned off my flash and got a blurry picture of the YATTA cosplayers doing there thing on stage. These guys must've had monster balls, because they went almost the whole convention in nothing but their skivvies and giant green leaves.

59) After the masquerade was over, we decided we'd go check to a hentai (porn) screening. We figured we'd be the only two people in there, not accounting for the 50 or so guys milling around outside the entrance. Imagine our surprise when we found that the line stretched all the way down the hall. People were even chanting "HENTAI! HENTAI! HENTAI!" It was both awesome and disturbing.

60) We spotted these hunnies on the way back up the hall. They had a cluster of about 30 guys around them all with cameras flashing.

61) Later, we strolled down to check out the Otaku Rave. I saw a hot asian girl dancing around in lingerie underwear. It was sweet.

62) Even The Cheat showed up to party. I got some footage of my buddy dancing with him. I'll see if I can get it uploaded somewhere.

63) But eventually Sunday rolled around and we had to head for the airport. That's where we spotted Hooters Air. We'll have to fly them when we come back for Otakon '05.

64) Cruising from Baltimore to Cincinnati. Our flight was delayed over an hour and a half. I thought we were going to miss our connection, but it turned out that the connecting flight was delayed two hours beyond that even...

65) Our pimpin' corporate jet, which we took from Cincinnati to Minneapolis.

66) I bought some kickin' swords at the 'con, which now have a permanent place above my computer. These are real metal swords with a fairly sharp edge.
