Arkile, Shawn Ogle, and LoveFest have teamed up to bring you ONS-DiamondSword, an Onslaught map for Unreal Tournament 2004 inspired by the original concept for a very popular Capture the Flag map from Unreal Tournament. The map is not ready yet, this is only a sneak preview, but it appears to be coming along nicely.

Arkile (original Author) and I started working on a CTF 2k4 version back in September of 2003. I grabbed Shawn Ogle from Glitter Gulch, adding to the collective skill set. We didn't know at the time that a vehicular CTF was NOT going to be shipping with 2k4. Since then we've shifted gears to translate all the successful ingredients of the original Diamond Sword into a ONS version.

It's based on Arkile's *concept* of the original DS. Not the actual map. Check out the site for details.

wtf....vctf WAS shipped with 2k4...just with no maps provided...

Well once this is released I hope they'll port over the original CTF-DiamondSword to UT2K4.

Yes. We're planning on a dual release: VCTF and ONS versions of Diamond Sword. We're working on two different versions of bases for the two styles of fighting.
