GG, the UT forum is practically dead...

Not to be hateful or anything but the UT forum now seems to get less activity than the Unreal forum. That's just sad...

No it doesn't. The Ut forum isn't dead ...
Talk about overreacting fearless.

Fearless probably would like the UT forum to be restored to it's former glory by removing it from the "older unreal titles" section and making it more visible.

People are blind anyway... 0_0

And why is that?

I've no idea but then I failed rocket science class :D . Seriously, Neonite has expressed my feelings to a certain degree. However, thinking about this objectively, I don't think restoring the UT forum to it's former place will help.

That's probably because the audience at BU is happy to keep up with the tide and embraces any advancement. I see some of the names that used to be in the UT forum in the UT2004 one. That said, there are also a few regulars that have completely disappeared. Maybe it's time for me to truly move on :( ...

P.S: Read the title with a Homer Simpson voice and you'll get my mood ;) .

UT is going on 5 years old. The online numbers continue to shrink with few to no new players. The UT forum has pretty much nearly any discussion you can think of concerning UT. It was a great game, but like all games... it's nearly run its course. :)

Ok, well I shall have to find more reasons to go in the UT2004 forum. I have the game, I just haven't given it a spin online yet. Perhaps you can understand my pain when I say that the lack of posts in the UT forum has gradually forced me to seek activity in the OT forum :D (arg, my brain ...).

Yes, that sounds painful enough, alright. Having invested a good deal of my time in the last 5 years in the UT forum, I understand that it's hard to let go. Actually, for me, it was pretty easy because I happen to really like the UT2x series. :)

They're alright. Well..okay, they're good. But they just don't have the feel of the original UT. Alas poor UT99, I knew it Fearless, a game of infinite fun.

Where can I buy a copy of UT99?
I have this game called Unreal tournament, but... UT99.. got me confused.
What's the exact difference between both games?
Does UT99 have 99 game modes?
99 mutators? 99 maps?
99 playah modelz?

I wish I knew more about UT99, but I don't.

Ha Ha. I just did that to avoid any possible confusion between the different UT's (UT's- now that's iffy). I know it wasn't likely to happen considering anyone on this forum is probably very familiar with the brothers UT, but I see UT99 more and more on many websites. I didn't make it up, I promise, swear, no really, I didn't, cross my heart and hope to die. YOU GOTTA BELIEVE ME! :D

Using UT99 is kind off silly.
Then again, there are lots of silly people. Personally I can't possibly see any confusion being arised between "UT-unreal tournament", "UT2K3/4-ut2003/4".

There. Let's hope everyone who has read this post won't ever forget how to distinguish these 3 games from eachother.

If someone however can't see the difference, they need glasses. STRONG glasses.

Or maybe they're just lazy............

I'll repeat it again, UT99 sounds hideous.
I refuse to ever name the game like that. :-/
