im glad i have cable....but im also glad for the timing as well....moving in like 2 days and no internet for at least a month after that. Now i cant wait for WTFskaarj to be out of ut2004 :D. never tried it before but it looks fun :)

edit: Thank god it aint as big as ChaosUT2 that took like 2 hours to d/l (even though it took 10 mins on my step bros comp like 50 miles away :P)

meh, you just stay in the weapon area and shoot at it if you don't want to get hurt, but you can still cope in the main area, even though the "spider" might want to jump on top of you (even though it's funny when it happens :lol: ). Oh, and the "spider" is actually a skarrj pupae, but you probably already knew that. :P

Seems like this mod creates a large log file.. -_-

My pc had a 1.9G log file created inside the fhi2k4/system folder..is anyone else having this issue?

1.9GB? I don't think so, mate. :con:

A lot of the Epic Invasion code is to blame, because I didn't replace many of the functions that the log errors come up with, but no way does it produce a log file that's 1.9GB, that's ridiculous. :p

About the Spider boss.. yeah, it was originally supposed to be a lot tougher. However, when Rad sent me his latest weapon code to compile, I forgot to include the old Spore code (the boss should fire those spores.. :o ) and so it can't find the spore class. Dang.

Yeah, that's the one. I usually add the Spore classes in from an old version, but this time I forgot just before I zipped it up for release. Go me.. \o/

So the bosses are subclassed off of Monster? Hmmm.... I'll find out soon enough. At 21% of download.

No, not by nature, but according to parser (correct me if im wrong) v3 shows v2 servers in teh browser (and vice versa!?), while it shouldn't. Most servers haven't upgraded yet to version 3.
Clients who tries to connect with version 3 on a version 2 server will result in downloading packages and then get version mismatch errors.

Just wanted to give a big thanks for one of the best mods I have seen. To me this release is, wow, so much harder then the earlier versions. The new monsters (the ghosts specifically) are a lot more challenging.
To me this is what invasion was meant to be. It is more like a sci-fi monster movie. I love the watchtower map, flying in the raptor like thing, just screams late night movie!

Anyways thank you all for this great mod. I can only imagine the work it takes to pull off something of the scale.

Clone Bandits is my #1, FragHouse Invasions has to be my #2. :eek: (ducks behind a rock) but I play both on a daily basis :D

I am amazed how many people put so much work into these things.

What would be way cool for CB is a skin pack.
I just played some FHINV instant action a few minutes ago. Definately what one wants for a good fragging, uhm, you know what I mean. ;) I like the mini-gun rocket gun alt fire, also the turbo laser shock combo is pretty sweet.
