At which speed do you play the game (classic, hardcore, turbo)

I'm sure most people play it at hardcore right?

How did you start playing ut?

First month I think, I played on classic. But it's soooooo slow.
Then I switched to hardcore for a while. But again, it was too slow for me.
So I decided to switch to turbo and increase the aircontrol.
Finally I ended up playing ut at turbo 120-130 gamespeed and 60-65 aircontrol.

Now i've switched back to hardcore 120/60. (quite nice really)

Another reason why I've posted this thread is:

I was browsing the monsterhunt servers, and noticed one server used the classic setting :)
So I was wondering: "How does that feel like again? Must be so slow"

Classic. I'm too scared to revert to classic mode :D

Imo I think it's a shame if you always stick to the same settings :).
You should experiment a bit. Ut can be a totally different game at higher speeds (I guess?)
Even botplay can be more challenging sometimes (if you're in a map which has good pathnoding).

I just can't get used to 35%
I've been playing UT online now for a while, but most of the times it's as if I'm running around with weights on my feet :O)

I know 1 guy who used 2 play 200% speed, 40% aircontrol with turbo ...
he's having real trouble now, learning how 2 dodge on deck 16 from shock 2 shield. (new LAN party is coming)

anyway, when I'm tired of "usual UT" I launch UT with some mods =)

I always hardcore, classic sucks so bad, you even wont kill anyone instantly with a shock combo sometimes :con:
Air control is standard 4 me

few montsh ago I played 125%, I got better aiming, specially in shock combos 4 some reason, it played just better.

No my Dialy UT match (exept multyplay) DM-Deck16II, hardcore 100% gamespeed, standair air control.
and 3 masterfull bots (No I cant play relaxed @ godlike :rolleyes: )


mutators: colormatch,Qfeedback, and Revenge (no bonus)

And I think I forget one but I dont remember it, cause Ialways have: ''always use this mutator configuration'' :eek:

there was a time i've tried 110% speed, but that's it. I've only tried ONCE HARDCORE and TURBO. Cheap...

As per usual... no mutators. I use them on remote times, once every 2 Uranus cycles or so...
