Beta Patch 3229 Changes

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

Epic has released UT2004 beta patch 3229 to beta testers on the official UT2004Servers and UT2004Mods mailing lists. While this patch is not intended for public distribution just yet, we can reveal the list of changes since the previous beta patch (version 3227)


Fixed mod support for localization
Now support multiple music directories
Fixed weapons checking if they were out of ammo when they weren't the
active weapon (which was causing undesired switching to best weapon)
Fixed catching own thrown weapon while running forward
Fixed mousewheel input on Win64.
Fixed server browser filters page
Added cacherecords.ucl to patch (so Instagib CTF will show up)


As soon as the second UT2004 patch is officially released, we'll have it available for download here on BeyondUnreal.

Well if we didn't have these news posters, you'd never know about the beta patches. :p

And they're excellent for making sure that the bug fixes don't introduce more bugs. :D
