master server problem

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

Me and my friends purchased UT2004 yesterday. After installation i started up the game and had no problems with the offline game. But, when i tried to play online it said somthing like this "The UT2004 master server can not be reached at this time. Please try again later." My friends are having no problem playing online. Whan can I do to fix this. There is a pic of the problem attached.

I haven't had master server connections for either UT2004 or XMP since this past saturday. It's a problem on Atari's side. I spoke to a representative earlier this week and they said they've needed the "other talents" of their master server. ;) This master server problem happens a lot. See pic below:

Note: I haven't tried to connect to a game since wednesday. It was still down for me wednesday on both games. :(

I've had no problems whatsoever this week, and I've played every day. Perhaps the outtage was brief?
