Teleport on release - to the wrong base?

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. The thread title says it all really :)

One of the Jolt servers is set up to teleport the player hitting the release 'back to their base', but instead they're teleported to exactly the same position - on top of the release button again!

Aside from this and the server issues, all is great :D

Sorry for posting in the wrong forum.

This seems to happen on all maps online, but none of the maps offline.

The Jolt servers are clean v3186 installs with only Jailbreak installed - you can test it on the Teleport on release server here: ut2004://213.208.119.152:7220

I'm puzzled as to why it should only affect online play, as I'm running v3816 as a client here too.

I've tested this myself & confirmed it.

It's a netcode issue. I will report it in our development forums. Thanks for letting us know :tup: ... and sorry we missed this in testing :(
