Hey.. I had a question for some of you mad-skillz out there...

After downloading the CyberAnimeDarkelf whatever it was.... I was amazed at just how origonal and refreshing it was... There are so many models out there that are from something else (Hell, I'm even begging someone to make one in another thread.) that it was incredibly nice and refreshing (Said that already didn't I?) to see something so origonal... not really having to do with anything else. Now I may be wrong... and that model may be from some anime/cartoon/book/manga what-have-you... but I like to think that the artist designed it himself and really took a step outside the box...

So.. enough ranting about the awsomeness that iss that model and back to my question... I've been piddling around with a few sketches lately, and its crossed my mind more than once how much I would love to see them running/jumping/fragging... I'f I posted a few of them and someone deemed them good enough, do you think anyone would take the time to construct a model?

I wish I could do it myself.. but I've been lacking that first step in the path to modeling and haven't really got my feet off the ground... Also, it gives me a decent chance to stretch out my designer limbs and see if I can make a workable, and yet bad ass enough design.

Heh.... that sounds great! Now I just need to figure out how to post pictures on this forum..... Hmmmmm

And here is a question for you, and anyone else interested in modeling... what would -you- like to model.. what type of project would you lie to take on, but just haven't had the time/drive to?

Normal huh? Well The image below isn't exactly "normal" per se' .. But it is an example of my work... Its rather hastely drawn and not even inked.. but I wanted to give you an idea of wether or not my designs would be worth anyone's time. The one below is a (litteraly) Half human, half something else.. nasty. I had a few questions about its construction the I was wondering if was even possible... The gun, origonaly in the image was a place holder, but I grew to like it.. Is there anyway to keep that weapon on the model, have all the ammo fire out of it but never change the graphic?

Also... the tubes on his back were kinda supposed to be spewing toxic gas. Is there a way to use an effect like for torches and such so that they seem to have gas or smoke comming out of them?

I'm really not sure what all the editor is capable of, but I'm certainly pretty interested.

No.
There´s no way to do this by modelling.

W00t and double w00t.... well who exactly would be the one modeling?

(Big begging cow eyes)

There is another design I would really like modeled but I don't want to show it here.. kinda like a suprise.. Plus it doesn't exactly fit the future theme.

Slaughter, your wisdom has my infinite love and affection, but doesn't the new MegaMan model just use his power blaster? I haven't DL'ed it, but the screenshots make it look that way.

Yes ., but he is "only" holding his Blaster .So , you don´t know , if he´s shooting with the Flak or the Rocketlauncher , before he is hitting you :D .

I´ll check it...His arms look stiff...guess they were assigned to the top Spine bone...
(/me thinks the weapons will still appear :lol: )
