No mods work

I have had this problem with other mods that when i download the mod it ends up being 5kb in size and is corrupt. Is there anyone here who can help me with this? Thankyou.

Please ignore this. Ive found the problem and its with my download accelerator.

Heh, which download accelerator do you use? Personally, unless I'm downloading something really big, I use Firefox's (http://www.mozilla.org) inbuilt download manager which seems to work pretty well. :)
