Oh yeah great.
Non-lethal means less qualms to actualy use it so it will be used earlyer in an escalation - or even before there is a real escalation - then a rifle.
AFAIK 150db damage the ear permanently after one second. While you probably have 'some' distance to it it will take longer but somehow I can't see >>"the high-pitched tone is intended to only be used for a few seconds at a time."<< to a) be short enough and b) I don't realy trust humans enough that they realy only use it for a few seconds.

I see that rather pessimistic.
