lock-ups & freezing

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. My freind just got UT and now every time we try to install it, it freezes up...
Iv'e heard a few people say it will work if the anti-virus things are off, is that true???

he has windows 98/128 MB RAM/pentium II 400mghz

i'd appreciate some help on this

I'm sorry to be of very little help, but I understand that there is a CD reading problem with some CD control.. Some Ultra 66 or something close. That should jog some one's memory and they will give you the correct answer.

The answer has also been posted before so you may want to search for a previous post about it.
