UT2004 - No Opengl ?

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. It would seem that the little trick that enabled OpenGL on the UT2003 doesn't work on the UT2004 demo. Any idea if Epic will include OpenGL in the full version ;/ ?

OpenGLDrv.dll was included in the demo.

Also there where several entries in the UT2004.ini.

[Engine.Engine]
RenderDevice=OpenGLDrv.OpenGLRenderDevice

You may have done it incorrectly because it works for me.

...and finally there a menu function that lets you change to software mode. I will assume Open GL will show up in the full version. As of now if you change to openGL you will experience a blank space where opengl should read. It looks like the menu system is slightly glitchy in opengl. At least on my ATI card.

Well, I uncommented that line in UT2004.ini but OpenGL doesn't appear in the graphics mode menu apart from the blank space you've described. You're saying that ""=OpenGL ? I'll try it ;) .
