Duke3D's source was released some time ago. Ports are being made, and I think some people are working on getting Blood working with it.

duke3d source were owned by 3drealms, not atari. I mispelled it, is BLOOD, not BUILD (build is the engine and the editor, AHH! i love this editor, very simple to work with)

Still, with Duke's source out people can screw with the engine to incorporate features of other Build games. I think some ports can already do 3D sprites like Shadow Warrior and Blood had (I think they used voxels).

jonof's duke3d port (jonof.edgenetwork.org) can do 3d models and highresolution textures, but im talking about the ->Games<- not their features.

Fallout 3 was picked up by Bethesda, the Elder Scrolls folks. After ES4:Oblivion, they are putting out fallout 3.

The rights to fallout 3 was, all the work (to my understanding) was trashed. But at least many of the great mines of Black Isle whent to Bioware, and will be working on NWN2

jonof's duke3d port (jonof.edgenetwork.org) can do 3d models and highresolution textures, but im talking about the ->Games<- not their features.
I realize that. If the features of other games can be reproduced then the games themselves can be made to work on the ported engine.

Someone once almost completly ported Wolf3d to Unreal. But unfortunaly he was shut down.

I believe the work was trashed. Bethesda is starting from sctratch (at least thats what I picked up from Game Informer)
