first off a big kudos to those involved in getting this beta out. it shows to the rest of the game community just how organized and talented XMP fans really are. the work is certainly professional in every way. We should be grateful to have such committed people in the XMP community.

My biggest beef with the pack at the moment is the size of the levels. While I need to go back and play them several more times, it seems to me that a few of them could benefit from an overall scaling down. I don't seem to be alone as quite a few other people that were on some of the servers I played on had basically the same observation. Again, don't get me wrong, they are gorgeous, professional looking affairs but I can see the size becoming a point of exasperation down the road.

Other than the size though these are keepers, every single one :)

Hehe, I need a disclaimer on Xaemia: If you don't like big maps stay out!!

Its probably one of the biggest most frusterating CBP map..yet it can be extremely fun to play with a big group of cooperative people...IMO

I realized it may have been too big, so I hope Naularn is a bit smaller and more fun to play. It was a map I had done a while ago, towards the beginning of the beta, but I never wanted to finish it, moved on to Xaemia. Glad I came back to it, because its probably my favorite map that I made. :D

-EDIT- And thanks a lot for the Interest, glad to see people are liking it so far!

Without sounding as if I am just jumping on another bandwagon...

Thanks Very Much. K-U-D-O-S for adding even more value to a free download ;)

Kick a$$

Played two of the CBP maps on Factory this morning and had a BLAST.

Much fun. Glad to see the maps hitting the servers so quickly.

man the levels are great the attention to detail again great but I feel I must go back to first post on this, and I am not the only one , we run the AOL jolt server with your map pack and the cry is? these maps are way too big, but maybe instead of scaling down, trying (as they all listed as betas) and for betas they rock, going for more interaction mid field. No vehicles if ya miss a raptor then forget it, it takes like 2 or 3 mins to walk, sprint, power jump to a situ on some maps and then to be snipped well a lot of the servers emptying already including ours :-(

having said that, man you guys rocked getting these maps out, just maybe not so big or something to do mid field, some of them have great potential for clan wars.

keep up good work. Frag on .... BTW what happened to the cloak? mutator

Overall I do have to say the maps look and play (on a whole) great.

I only have two things so far I'd like to see changed.

The first thing is the bases on some of the levels seem too open to sniper attacks. This isn't a problem as much as it is a preference issue. I just dislike guarding my teams base only to be sniped three or more times in a row by the same Ranger. I'd just like to suggest that there may be a bit more cover and hiding places placed in some of these open base maps.

To explain ideas for cover how about walls facing out and away from one's base with a small window for firing. A sniper could still get the person behind this wall through the opening but it makes the person behind it able to shoot and duck for cover.

Anything else could be more "natural" forms of cover. Like rocks, bushes, trees, foxholes, etc...

I'm not saying there isn't cover in these maps, just that I'd like to see more of it. Could work to either sides advantage if done right.

The second thing is right before the game crashed from playing "Islands" I was in the elevator near the blue base and there was a small square on the floor of the elevator that one has to jump out of. I'll try to get a screenshot later. Its not a problem, just kind of annoying.

Well that's all I have for now. Again, love the new maps and can't wait till their final release.
