U2 - Ut2003?

I'm sure it is possible to convert U2 models to UT2003, I have both games, and I love both games, but I would like to see some of the marines and some of the othermodels in UT2003. Anyone know how this could be achieved? I have absolutely NO experience in editing things in the unreal game engine, but I am willing to try. All the tutorials I have found are purely for maps, or for UT, which is setup a bit differently from UT2003 by the looks of the files i have installed so far.

I'm looking for anything, and anyone who would be either willing to help me, or give it a shot themselves. I also am wondering how to convert UT models to UT2003.
