This is a hell of a way to release a mod!

The online release of Infiltration 2.9 will happen live on German television. Norbert "Beppo" Bogenrieder, our programmer, will be going live on Giga, a show on NBC Germany, for about half an hour to show off 2.9 and officially release it to the public. The show takes place Monday night from 10:00 PM to midnight German time (GMT+1), making it at 4:00 to 6:00 PM EST.

Live webcasts (in German) will be available, as well as a live translation in English on an IRC channel. We will then post a download of the segment on our site as soon as we can get ahold of it.

ISDN STREAM: http://giga.de/x-stream/streams/isdnlive.html
DSL STREAM: http://giga.de/x-stream/streams/dsllive.html

The live IRC transcript will be in #inftv on irc.gamesnet.net. I have also set up a java IRC client for those of you without IRC already.

Nice :D . Giga TV is known in many countries outside of Germany so this release is going to be a hit. Posted about it on a Belgian gaming forum :

Wasn't this the same show that featured the live-interview with Mark Rein about UT'03 ?

Possibly. Germany is a bit of a focal point in Europe when it comes to technical stuff and computing. For instance, there's the big CeBit exhibition (http://www.cebit.de/homepage_e?x=1) that occurs once in a while.

Giga TV, being on NBC, has a big audience so people will usually turn to them when they want to showcase stuff. I remember seeing the show when the original Geforce FX came out. They showed how nifty the card was but then went on to show how noisy it was :p .

yep,
I was watching that feature and had some friends in irc watch the net stream. I also translated a fair bit. it was pretty funny in the "OMG n00bs way!". ;)
