WorthPlaying has posted their impressions of Rainbow Six 3 for Xbox:

The multiplayer side of Rainbow Six 3 is very well done and is easily the best part of the game and most likely where you will spend most of your time at, if you have XBL that is. As stated before, there is no split screen multiplayer option, only system link and live play. There are 5 different multiplayer modes in the game. Two of those modes are coop only and support a max of 4 people. In these, you can go back through the single player campaign with 3 other real people instead of your AI team mates. For those of you who have played coop Halo, you know how fun this can be to play through a game’s single player levels with real people at your side. Rainbow Six 3s coop is even better then Halos and sets a new standard of how coop should be done. Besides coop, you have your standard multiplayer modes that support up to 16 people. Sharpshooter, survival and team survival are your 3 death match multiplayer modes. Survival and team survival are a lot like Counter-Strike, when you die in these modes you are dead till the next round. And the last player/team alive is the winner. In sharpshooter, you can respawn and is more like your standard FFA death match. The person with the most kills wins. Rainbow Six 3 plays great over XBL with little to no lag on well hosted Xboxs, even with 16 players. With out a doubt this is one of the top XBL games yet released. If you like more realistic shooters like Counter-Strike and other Tom Clancy games, then you will have a blast playing this title online. Any XBL user should take a close look at this title, but those of you who liked Ghost Recon online should go out at once and pick this title up, as it is even better then that.
