Animation Notify with Code

Wonder if possiable to get a animation Notify witch work as the Notify in the animation browser with code?

Have checked some forums and Wiki after it but found nothing about it. So you could get a animation to call a function @ a certain frame should be pretty usefull.

In UT it was possible by using a #EXEC MESH NOTIFY. See http://chimeric.beyondunreal.com/tutorials/execcommands.php for more details. I don't know if it still works in UT2003 but you might want to give it a shot.

In ChaosUT2 we use aim notifys to tell the code to do something during part of the models animation. Is that what your after??

There are different AnimNotify classes, e.g. for playing sounds, for executing a function or for triggering an event. Just make sure you pick the correct one when creating the notify.

from UDN animNotifies seem to have a lot of potential but last time I checked it was not very documented
