In case anyone else is using Visual Studio .NET 7.1, here's a registry key you can add that enables color coding of .uc files:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\VisualStudio\7.1\Languages\File Extensions\.uc]

{B2F072B0-ABC1-11D0-9D62-00C04FD9DFD9}

...Someone (the DeusEx team?) posted this long ago as a Visual Studio 6.0 trick, and I was able to get it to work in both 7.0 and 7.1 just by changing the path of the registry key, so hopefully it'll work for other versions, too. I've poked around a bit on the web but haven't been able to figure out exactly what bindings it's using, presumably c++ but could be c# or java, anyway it's a pretty decent match.
