Help: UT map Incompatibility

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. Okay, I've got an older version of UT (GOTY version) and there are new maps from Nali City which is incompatible in it and doesn't show up. I believe those are maps for UT 2003. Now how do I upgrade my version of UT in order to render it compatible to UT 2003 maps? Thank you.

Sorry, but that's impossible.

UT Maps (with a .unr filename) can ONLY be played with the original Unreal Tournament.

UT2003 Maps (with a .ut2 filename) can ONLY be played in Unreal Tournament 2003. You cannot upgrade UT to play UT2003 maps.

If you want to play UT2003 maps, you'll have to buy the game.
