i was wanting to BBQ a pork chop, when i relized i didnt have any charcoal, so i went around the yard, and picked up some sticks and threw them on the grill

so here i am, eating my porkchop whilst typing this, and man this thing taste good!

all i did to it was add some onions and pepper, like i usally do, but with the wood instead of coal, it tastes a lot better

so what are your favorite ways of barbecuing?

i went to a relatives cabin in the middle of nowhere a couple days ago, and they have a bbq pit kinda thing that they just burn wood in and cook on top of. and in the night they take the grate off the top and we have bon fires in it. food tastes really good, too. they through some cherry tree and apple tree wood on it to give it a little more flavor as well.

When it comes to bbq's , they just taste alot better with charcoal instead of the gas flamage. Its the smokey taste they you get with it that just helps. We also sometimes burn some spices in there with the steaks.
