Stuff for Deus Ex!

I've asked the admins about this and because Deus Ex is a game that uses the Unreal Engine (licensed, of course), I am fully allowed to put content relating to that game up on the site.
So...

Weapons!

Soon, anyway. How many of you own the game/still play it? I recently purchased it, and I think it's great. Perhaps I might take a few ideas from the Explodining thread and use those... who knows...

Well, let's see.
A harpoon gun/grapple hook would be quite interesting, you know. :)
A gun that shoots out a straight cable that pulls the player along, rather like the grapple concept in Chaos UT, only in an actual gun. Think Batman. ;)

I find it funny that they have a plasma rifle, but no laser weaponry. Think that should be remedied?

Throwing Knives. Check.

Laser weaponary.. hmm.. now there's an idea. Seeing as DX's code is so identical to UT's, I could probably rip the shockbeam code. :D (Or not, ahem...)

Heh, well when you do get it, don't forget to give some feedback on the WeaponLord / Deus Ex pack. ;)
It truly is a great game, it has tons of replay value.

I don't own Deus Ex... although I played it round at my friend's house once... it's ace. I can't script anyway... I just brainstorm ideas for mods and mutators.
