Please could someone explain how to get the current ammo count on the weapon model as seen on the rocket launcher in UT?

Give the ammo counter part of your model an extra skin and, in UnrealScript code, assign it a ScriptedTexture (http://wiki.beyondunreal.com/wiki/ScriptedTexture) to draw the ammo count on it.
