Hola peeps!

I don't know if there is much demand for this, but since I couldn't find any site that had it and since I like it so much, I went ahead and converted all the original UT music to .ogg format. Using WinVorbis, I made two sets of conversions with the quality levels at 6 and 3. The difference is almost imperceptible, but, being the audiophile that I am, I have placed the level 6 quality files in my UT2003/music folder. In any case, I have made rar archives of both sets. The level 3 quality files are in a 65MB file and the level 6 are 120MB. While I would like to send the archive to whoever wants, I think the proper thing to do would be to host it. Any ideas? I believe that it would be most prudent to put the level 3 files on the web, so I will need to find a place that can host that much. Let me know what y'allz think.

I am going to try to find where I can upload the 65 meg version. I don't know where, or how, but anyone who can help me out with idears, I would greatly appreciate it.

So, BC, when you get in touch with Sparky, would you mind asking him if he would want to host a 65MB .rar file of all the original UT music already converted to .ogg, so peeps can DL it and use it in UT2003/3004? I am still trying to find other hosts. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know.

Why would I have to ask Sparky if I can host it?

BTW: Did you convert Razor-ub? If you did I want it :)

UT-018_Razorback __ Unreal mix.ogg

Let me know if you want to do a 65mb file transfer and I can DCC it next time we are in IRC--perhaps some time over this weekend. Oh, were you going to host it on BU? Just wondering. Later!

Sounds like a cool deal, but like he already stated, it's going to be awfully hard to find that kind of webspace. =\
