An idea for Server Admins

Indicate what city your server is in. How you do it is up to you. Maybe in the name or message of the day. I found a server the other day that was in a city close to me and the ping was amazing(< 100 on average). This would also show how global the UT community is.

Why? in UT, you can sort by Ping... that should tell you which servers are closest. (by the very nature of pings and routes, the closer the server, the lower the ping - but there are exceptions).

uhm, try refreshing the list a couple of times. Do you have any servers that stay at the top? My system doesn't. Pings change from one millisecond to the next as you probably know. And what is in the browser may not be what you get in the game. It would also make creating a clan a lot easier because a person would have a good chance of finding a clan with members who relatively close. Then their could the East Dallas [PuF]s, the West LA [PufF]s, Dogs and Cats living together, mass hysteria........haaarrh
