Resizing an image for a BuF avatar

Hello digital art specialists.

I have a bit of a problem that your expertise could solve.

I found a great image for the incoming Final Fantasy Chronicles that could make an interesting avatar. Unfortunately, my efforts in using ThumbsPlus to resize the image to my satisfaction did not work well.

So, I was wondering, if someone could simply resize this image and make it into a reasonable size for an avatar that could be uploaded here to BUF. Thanks. I'd really appreciate it.
