I finally finished my DOM map (no screens sorry) but I dont know how to add music, and how to make screenshots work (not to mention the fact the the 'press fire to start thing' is in the picture). I tried using the music tab, but the editor looks for umx files and 2k3 uses .ogg's!

Just enter the OGG file's name (without .ogg) as the map's Song.
To take clean screenshots simply hide the HUD. Then save them as 512x256 DDS and import them into myLevel, e.g. as SShot1 through SShotx. Create a new MaterialSequence in myLevel and add your textures. Check an Epic map for an example of this.

One thing to remember with your material sequence....in fact, there's two things :)
1: When you go to click 'use' in the level summary for it to use your new sequence, you must have the Material Sequence properties window open still or it won't accept it as a valid level preview image.
2: Right click each of the shots you're using for the sequence and go into the properties of the texture. Under the Texture heading, change the LODset from LODSet_World to LODSet_Interface. If you leave it set to 'world' your screenshots will be affected by world detail settings (not good for people who play with lower settings). Setting it to Interface will mean it displays at full detail at all times regardless of the detail settings a player may be using.

Huh? I've never had that problem. It just has to be highlighted, naturally. :shy:

You must be speshul then Rachel ;) It won't allow me to select a material sequence for a level preview unless the properties are open. One of the many Ued quirks I assume :)

That is very confused. Still I do not understand how to add music and screenshots to my maps. Could somebody fix it please little more simply? You will have to excuse my English poor man, I is using a Spanish translator.

You have to go into the level properties, under audio then song, type in the name of the .ogg file (the song name but without .ogg on the end)

Thanks I do not understand much, but still how to add screenshots in the map. Is that what exhibits when you install the game? And how you exhibit like things title and author? (still using the translator)

Thanks. I found another way to make its own music. If you downloading the modplug player of modplug.com, you can open your file of .wav in modplug player and save him like .it file, later you can open that with browser of the music of UnrealEditor.
