So today, despite my deeply-ingrained distaste for most forms of physical activity, I hauled my ass to the gym. It's a small, all-girl gym, and they like to encourage a sense of community there. (It's quite nice, really.) Anyway, one of the things they do to make it all more personal is give away little gifts and incentives for various things, such as showing up on a Monday. Today I won a little prize for having the closest birthday to today's date. Know what I won?

A chip clip.

I imagine they'll be giving away an ice cream scoop and a beer cooler next.

ROFLMFAO How ironic. Oh wait, that's already been said. Nice thread, Maj.

In the 9th grade we had a pizza/coke/cake party in our health class. O_o

Google is your friend. :)

Although I am very worried that I still remember the wang hanger comic.

what kind of prize is a chip clip? i see the irony but i think there are about 500 chip clips in our house and we have about 2 bags of chips. seems like a pretty scummy prize to me.

Well, I guess it prevents you from eating your crisps all at once, or something - it's still about on the same level as a commemorative paperclip, though ;)

I'm surprised that some of you don't know what a chip clip is....
Now....what the hell is a "crisp". Is that some kind of wacky foreign term for potato chip?;)

lmfao, ditto that... my mom works in a woman's weight loss center, and you know what is RIGHT NEXT to it (literally, its on the same building)?

An ice cream store :D

Sure, it's a dorky prize, but seeing as I didn't have to do a damn thing to win it...*shrug*.

They also give away t-shirts and mugs and whatnot.

You can use that wonder new chip clip for a fresh bag of Baked Lay's or Baked Ruffles which are quite low in fat and very tasty. I highly recommend the Cheese Sour Cream and Onion Baked Ruffles. :)
