See how much having controll over aparture and such can help? With the old camera everything in that picture would be sharp detracting from the main focus of the picture. Now you can get the flower nice and sharp and everything else be slightly blurred. Now that you can adjust aprature and film speed etc next step I would say should be a polarized filter to put over the camera lens.

TWD: You should see all the options I can do, just alone for focus. It's... insane. There's an option for super-high focus on objects that are like 3cm away from the lense. Also, a 3 pack of filters along with an adapter came with it, UV, Polarizing, and F-D (for areas where fluorescent lights are about). The UV is recommended, since the lense is VERY sensitive to light, and it acts as a lens protector.

There's a macro lens built in? I have to stick this huge gigantic attachement to the front of my camera to do that!

*And no, I did not name him.
TWD: Your camera doesnt have a built in macros? :con: What kind is it?

These were taken with a macros setting for objects 3-20cm infront of the lense.
