3 Xbox's + 3 TV's +7 players + HALO! = total ownage.

I can't describe how much ass Halo kicks. See my dad knows our neighbors pretty well, and so he told us Matt was having a LAN party with 3 of his friends, so my dad told us, and he took us over and we played for like 3 hours. Me and my brothers had never even touched an Xbox before but we did pretty damn good.

Holy damn it was fun :cool: I wish I had some pics though :(

Anybody else have any stories of LAN Halo kickassedness?

HALO co-op is awesome fun on Legendary (but you want a pretty good team player with you) I tried with one of my mates, and he kept throwing plasma grenades on me by accident while i was punching guys up.

We got tired of doing the Halo LAN and moved on to TimeSplitters and Serious Sam. TimeSplitters is great because you can customize the death matches. Do a death match with one hit kills, and make the only weapon available the brick. It's hilarious good fun. :D

I raise you with 4 Xbox's + 4 TV's + 8 players ;) (LAN I had last weekend with friends).

Besides the usual Warthog Wars we also tried King Of The Hill this time...utter choas (people shouting "where's the fecking hill this time?!!" while playing a map that's smaller then my underpants)

We also played Serious Sam ("MMMOOORRREEE!"), Dead Or Alive 3 (playing tagteam with people who are not buttonmashers=heaven), MechAssault (so so), Soul Calibur 2 (import copy on modded 'box), Kung Fu Chaos (excellent party game), various singleplayer games and TimeSplitters 2 (only the Anaconda/Snake minigame though, much better then actual multiplayer ;))

Somebody also bought Brute Force recently but we forgot about it. Must have been all that Halo and alcohol :o

hehe good you started a thread cos in like 2 hours i'm actually going to one with some friends though its only 2 boxes and tvs :)
8 players on halo should be pretty good if we can get 2 teams on a vehicle map with 2 warthogs for each team. i already 'shotgunned' driving a warthog at work last so i should really practice a bit atm. should be quite a blast as would UC... though i'm sure i'm the only one who has it. think i'll take all my games just to be sure :D

yeah you need the game for each system.

Xbox lan party's are fun because there are so many great multiplayer games for the xbox. With the release of Xbox live, it has made the Xbox the best console of choice for game developers to release multipalyer specific games on if they choose to release such a game for a console.

With xbox live you dont have to get your friends together, you can just play over the internet. :)

Oh, it's crazy fun. Complete and utter mindless destruction and chaos. No puzzles to solve, no keys to collect, just shoot everything that moves. Gotta love it!
