You need to go into the Windows control panel, then choose the Nvidia NView Desktop Manager, Enable it if its not. Then you can go to the Desktops tab there and do whatever you like.

It's primarily the heat from the tarmac and engines engulfing everything. Jpg artifacts I can't be held responsible for, I didn't take the picture just found it somewhere. Besides, it's not like it takes anything away from how awesome that plane is.

Well c'mon, the last time those planes were active was the end of the Cold War. The shot was probably taken from a great distance (assuming opposite end of the runway) with a camera that's at least 25 years behind.

Just look at the asphalt at the very bottom, and the jet itself, there's noise everywhere. Either you're a quality blind person, or you just defend your desktop with useless arguments. :-)

www.seriouswheels.com is the first place I go to when looking for vehicle backgrounds. Satisfies my need for high resolution, lower compression and unwatermarked car images. The only downside is they don't always have the aspect ratio you need, like 1680x1050. So you often need to put it in photoshop yourself and do some work if you want that.

Right, exactly, I'm being selective.

The setup as you see it in that pic is the most minimal I can get it while still having swift, uninterrupted access to the items I use most regularly; the way I did just prior to switching to this style.

The most important stuff is in the Quick Launch bar next to the Start menu. Everything else I would need at any given time that isn't there is in the primary Start menu pop-up.

For some reason, it works great but then it will randomly disapear and delete it's self. I don't understand this at all.

I'm using ObjectDock because it's better than RocketDock in every way that I've seen. I have it set to do no animation and to show permanently but only behind other windows, so it's kinda like it's pinned to the desktop, but it will come forward if I put the mouse at the top edge of the screen. It's only using about 3.2 MB memory at this point, so I'm satisfied thus far.

I use Launchy at work and it's great but I don't like it at home for some reason. D:

Thanks for the suggestions guys, but I'm fine with the way I've got my desk now. Just using standard Windows capability like the quick-launch bar and reorganizing my Start menu is all I need for that clean, minimal icons look.
No need for any additional program.

I've got my processes down to only 26 at any given time and that's the way I like it.
