Just seen it mentioned on the TO mapping forum.
I've tried fiddling with it but it doesn't seem to do anything.
PS. *cough* (http://www.imahosting.com/unrealwiki/cgi-bin/wiki.cgi?Command_Line)

transform the brush permantly, then actor align it
the verts will get snapped to the nearest grid points on whatever grid you're using, handy dandy :)
useful to do after any regular (not multiple) vertex manipulation as I find 50% of the time you'll end up with verts that are a few micro units off the grid (which is as bad as being off the grid by any other amount) - that 'shimmering' of lines you get in some maps when you zoom in/out indicates they should have used actor align.
And it can be safely undone too, which is novel for ued

heh thanx for the tip :D. that shimerring is really irritaating.
tarquin you should add in how to bind console commands to keys from this page http://www.langsuyar.com/unreal/unrealed.html to Wiki

ah... :)
I never turn snap off, that's why it had no effect. Thanks :)

even with gridsnap on verts will 'drift' away from the grid a lot of the time with conventional vertex editing, but not with multiple vertex editing luckily
I found it came in most handy for gridnapping revolved shapes (assuming it doesnt mess up the shape)

My typing is shot to pieces at the moment, I'm churning out more typos than sense. I've created a link for a page on that topic, so if anyone wants to write it up, it's open season :p http://www.imahosting.com/unrealwiki/cgi-bin/wiki.cgi?action=edit&id=Binding_Editor_Commands
BTW, it's fine to import tutorials you've written yourself from other sites, but we can't import this guy's page without explicit permission.
