View Full Version : Item acting as pathnode??

I have this problem with a map I'm trying to make at the moment:

I made a 'secret room' behind a mover, with a health pack in it.
Now the bots try to get the health pack since it's acting as a
pathnode, but they get blocked by the mover. This makes them
walk forward and backward against this mover all the time. :(

Does anyone know a way to stop the bots from trying to pick it up?

Maybe you should rethink how the mover is opened?

Well I kinda decided that the bots would not have to get it after
looking at DM-Codex; there is no path leading to the invisibility there.

It would be great if I can get the bots to open the mover but I don't know how. :(
This mover is triggered by another mover which can only be triggered by shooting it.
I have no idea how I can make the bots to shoot it.

I found a way to stop the bots from trying to get the health pack, so nevermind that.

But I'd still appreciate it if anyone could tell me how I can get the bots to shoot a
mover which triggers another mover with a health pack behind it.

Cliffy's Curse][ has a mover that's activated by shooting, I'd check that out.

Yep I did that too, but that is just one mover. I can make the bots shoot the door to the secret room, but they won't shoot another mover which will open this door... I guess the bots do not want to take the time to shoot a mover without getting something for it right away. ;)

Thanks anyway Chrysaor, I'll just put this map up for playtesting.
The bots will have to do without the health pack for now.
