I wanna play some ol' skool AQ2, but the map pack I downloaded is a pak file. How do I extract the maps? Anyone have any recommendations on any free tools/utilites to do the job? I've tried Stuffit 7.0 but it gives me some sort of error.

You dont, put the PAK in youre AQ2 folder, and download the Quake model viewer (sorry, no link, too lazy) and open the PAK file with it, write down the names of the maps and in console, write "map mapname" and it should launch it just fine.

Alternatively, look for something called PAK explorer or something to that effect, allso a usefull tool for this, and more.

EDIT: ohh yeah, and you may need to rename the PAK, if you allready have a Pak0 and PAK1, this one should be called Pak2 for it to work, and obviously, if you only have a Pak0, this one should be Pak1 and so forth.
