I'll be the first to admit that my kitten Neko is quite insane. She will sit by her "ohsomostfavorablebluestickwiththepinkrubberthipthatcanbechased" until someone comes by. Then she will poke it with her front paws and make odd noises in Nekonese. (She refuses to meow.) If one bends down near Neko and her ohsomostfavorablebluestickwiththepinkrubbertipthatcanbechased, she will get very hyper active and try to get your hand to touch the stick and begin to drag it accross the ground so she may have the pleasure of chasing the stick.
She will do this for several hours.
One night whilst having an all-night MGS2 run, I went into the kitchen to get some snacks. She, who moments ago was sleeping on the couch in the living room, jumped off, went to a secluded corner of the room, and emerged with this now hated blue stick. WHen I refused to play, she jumped on my lap (making me miss that enemy and set off the alarm) made annoying noises and made some very stinky farts.
Am I the only person who has some type of odd, obbsessive, strange, insane, or otherwise weird pet, or am I alone?

I have two dogs, and the bigger one lies down on the ground (she's quite the lazy dog) and the other, smaller one (he's a beagle) will actually back up and sit down on the larger one, which makes for some rather humerous photos. Sometimes the beagle's back paws will even come off the ground so he's only touching the bigger dog. Basically, he likes to sit down like a human being, and he just plain can't sit down like normal dogs, because his legs get to tight, so he has to sit sidesaddle, which is also a sight to see :)

My dog, a toy poodle, is extremely obsessive over oranges. You could be in one room and peel an orange, and my bitch (thats her nickname;))will do anything to get a mouthful of that citrus delight. She has even made literally life threatening jumps from a 6 ft. pedestal (that's her home when nobody wants to look after her), just to get an orange.
Also, one time I gave her a taste of ketchup, she almost vomited from disgust.

My kitten can be made to attack its own tail. All you gotta do is hold the base of the tail and move it so the tip moves. Once it gets her attention....
My other cat goes hyper all the time, running all around the house, bumping into stuff, tripping over the stairs, and finally jumping up can trying to grab onto the curtains while meowing loudly.

My cat has resorted to sitting in the same spot all day. She sits on the left edge of the 4th step of the stairs to the second floor. That's it. Doesn't do anything else all day. :con:

2 stories. first: my cat. my can was sitting in our garden when an ant came out of a crack in the patio. my cat killed and ate this ant (as best he could considering it is so small and he has no opposable thumbs). ever since my cat sits by the crack in the patio staring at it. waiting for another ant to come out. its been 3 months now.
the other is my friends dog. we were round my friends house. a small party. just a few people. having a laugh. the next day the dog is running round the house, shaking. and finally being sick everywhere. so my friends mum takes the dog to the vet. the vet looks to the dog over, it shakes a bit then is sick on the vet. then the vet says: 'well, the dog isnt ill. but there is something wrong with it', my friends mum says 'what?' and teh vet replies: 'this dog is stoned, its showing all the signs. droopy eyes, decreased awareness to its surroundings, probably the munchies too, did has it been eating a lot?' so my friends mum goes home and tells my friend he is not to get the dog stoned. whenever he has parties teh dog must stay in the garden.

:con: Are ants that tasty?
My dog used to like bowling balls. She would roll them around on the cement, bite them, scratch them, and most importantly, yell at them. She would do this for 30 minutes straight.
Ah, my kitten has just reminded me, she likes to jump up on the computer monitor and chase her tail. And then fall off onto a random object: Scanner, Speaker1, Speaker 2, Computer, Keyboard, Lap, BehindComputer.
My other computer is hooked up to another one. By pushing a right button combonation, you can have the computers "switch." She walked across the keyboard and pushed the 2 or 3 buttons, located nowhere near each other, simultanously and caused the computer to "switch." While my friend was on it playing INF.
