man, ummmmmm, i really don't know how to say this but i think this guy is stalking me at school, i've heard from friends that he keeps on talking and asking about me, i see him following me around sometimes, and i could have sworn he followed me to my apartment one time - thank god i don't live alone

he's not a bad looking guy, and if cirsumstances were different i wouldn't have any problems with him, but.........frankly it's starting to scare me a little, what can i do to get him off my back?

Some good advice above, but one thing I should add is that if this does turn into a true stalking case, do NOT hesitate to get the cops involved. That is not to say you should rely on them to protect you, but you can get a case going against this sucker and if needs be put him away for a while. Stalking has gotten to be a very big no-no that's not looked upon favorably by anyone.

If you've got a vehicle, you may want to consider something I did when I was having trouble with an irritating neighbor. Take a silhouette target to the range and chew it up with a pistol, then place it prominently in the passenger seat of your vehicle for a few days. Simple, effective, powerful, and completely legal, passive intimidation. :D

Seriously, contact the police and ask their advice. Maybe they'll open a file on it now. If this turns into a serious problem and the police already have it on record, it will make it easier to take action. If the guy stops stalking you or it turns into a misunderstanding, then the police report will hurt no one.


You may want to look into getting some form of personal protection (which is NOT a condom as some other forum goers would have you believe :rolleyes: ), gun, pepper spray etc.

In all seriousness, if you think the guy is a real threat by all means go get a protection order. Probably won't stop him if he is dangerous (and will screw his life up a bit if he isn't ... so be sure) but it will give you a good defense in court should you have to get violent with him.

I'd confront him directly and ask him why he's stalking you ... if he's harmless that will probably chase him away for good (assuming thats what you want).

Most "stalkers" are not dangerous (most are just like you but don't have the social skills to tell you) ... but you don't know which ones they are until they do something, and by then its kinda late.

Scuddie's right... he might just have bad social skills. Confront him and ask him why he's been following you and if he likes you or something. Maybe he's not a bad person, just a bit of a loser. :p Be kind when you confront him, don't harass him by getting angry or anything. If he is a true stalker contact the local PD immediately. They will help you sort things out. Oh and carry a knife. A BIG knife.

But these are extreme measures for this case. 99% chance this guy is just shy, a similar thing happened to my g/f and she confronted the guy and told him she was not interested. If he follows you after that, call the cops, but I doubt it has to come to that.

First, you need to be certain he's stalking you. Maybe's don't cut it when there are serious consequences to an allegation.

If you're certain, confront him.

If confrontation doesn't work, then get the police involved. Self protection measures should also be implemented and up to you.

Make a confrontation in public, make sure there are otheres there, and take youre time to assert weather or not he's a threat, based on that you will know what to do, and should he turn out to be a threat, think nothing of destroying him, he wont.

True. Talking to him is probably the best thing to do, but don't get mad at him, just make sure he understands how uncomfortable it is for you.

If he's just a normal shy guy, it will probably make him aware that he's doing something bad, which will prevent him from doing the same thing again. He will probably be sorry, and everybody is happy.

You should consider a G33. It's the same size as te G36, but it has a higher ammo capacity, and a 125gr .357sig JHP to the chest is even harder to argue with.
