Spawning in 3rd person view..

Anyone got any ideas on how to make players spawn in 3rd person veiw without having to enter the "BehindView 1" console command?

I'm trying to make a little script that let's you play in 3rd person with a crosshair.. I think I have got the changing of 3rd person viewpoint figured but I can't get the damn player to spawn in 3rd person.

I have absolutley no idea about adding a crosshair to 3rd person view. I guess it's a long long crawl across the web for me =(

Hmm, that's not such a bad idea but for now I'll just concentrate on getting the viewpoint all setup proper. Half a day of web trawling and UEd experimenting and I'm still no closer. Agrh!!
