Did a little work on a map recently, phew, anyways here is my 7th map DM-hTMarseBase. This is actually a clans map I created it uses A Tempest like pillar structure and floor design. But I asure you its not even remotely floor planed out like tempest :)

Anyways you map testing people go check it out and see what ya think, I always like to get feed back on weapon placements and if the bot are getting everything, from what I have tested the bots work great, Enjoy!

Weapon placement and bots were good.
Thought the texturing and lighting were very well, excellent atmosphere.
There is definately z-axis, but I felt the need for more 1st-2nd level acess. Plenty of places to drop down a level, but not enough geometry to get back up.
It would be nice if some of those side rooms that only have one door access had an extra "entrance/exit".
Looks and plays good.

I agree with Faderide. In general the lighting and weapon placement was great.
But there needs to be more access to the upper levels from the
bottom. I found myself using the tele to get up there instead of
walking across several rooms.

Love where you put the BIO Rifle.
(it's my favorite weapon you know ;) )
I was able to hold off several Masterful bots from that hallway
for quite a while with it. :biorifle:

One thing which really bugged me was that the seams between
the brushes were not lighted evenly. It gives it a very artificial
feel when you can see all the seams like that.
It may take some time but you may want to play with the
"bright corners" settings to help eliminate some of this.
