  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

How about, to get rid of clutter, you delete all the accounts of people who have less than ten posts and haven't posted for like three or four months?

Just a thought, and it might be too hard to carry out, but considering the amount of users registered and the number who are active, it seems like this should happen.

We've discussed that a few times, and what it boils down to are these two points:

1) Why? The unused/little used names are not hurting anything. Also, some of those users may have participated in a few key threads, and deleting their account would remove their posts from the database... resulting in an incomplete/incoherent thread.

2) Everyone that has ever registered should have received an email when we moved to our new home. Many of them responded saying things like, "please don't delete my account, I check the forums every now and then and want to be able to participate when I see something I'm interested in."

If theres a user name you specifically want, you could try pm'ing/emailing it to see if its active or if you can have it..

Not much point tho, i mean its just as easy to register a similarly spelt nick

Well that would be plain evil! If someone thought I didnt spam enough and nicked my nick, I would be rather mad!
