A simple Redeemer replacement, fires a powerful beam forwards, made of redeemer explosions instead of beam effects, deadly.
Altfire generates a redeemer explosion around you, doesn't kill you though.
Beware of recoil!
Make sure you have room, if something is close up to you, then when you fire, even in alt mode, nothing will happen, but you'll lose the ammo.

the primary slows my frame rate down to a near crawl if I don't look away.... this would be a bad thing.... perhaps if you made the explosions smaller & shorter lived? it would still be a devestating weapon....

I like the concept though.... the execution just needs a little fine tuning.

Can't argue with that, lag is an issue, it generates 15 explosions, the first two tests didn't have a limit on it, and required a complete system reboot afterwards!
15 seems to be the max for me, but I'll try cutting down the size or duration of the blast sometime, I'll also try making it work at short range, skin it, and fix the problem with center view.
