i want my screen too flash, like you can do with a zoneinfo i thought,
so like you go in to some water or slime, you get an transparant green layer over your screen so you get the illusion that you are in the water, i want that too, but not with a zone, is that possible ? so i mean, when i trigger something, an actor like a specialevent gets triggered and only gives me a coloured screen,it may not affect the other players

ideas ?, i want too finish the map tonight, and thats the only real prob i have left :\
or a map that has it is good too

/me thinks it's impossible. Scripting it would probably be quite easy I would have thought.

blah, i cant script, there is prolly not a custom actor for rising water somewhere either ?

Rising water? check the original unreal level (the first temple-one)

so the slash-splash sound is justa trigger or triggeredzone?

only a pressurezone can be triggered or you have to have custom actors, wich wasnt in Unreal, and the splash sound is called ambient sound

you would need to script to get it to only affect the player that triggers it.

and rising water can only be done with custom scripting too...the one in unreal1 IS just a mover sheet, you never go into the water actually, it just the appearance, and i believe the sounds when walking are a result of a custom script as well. =D

I've seen rising water zone scripts about. I can't think of any links to them though :mad:

Edit: You might be able to do the flashy thing with a triggered light with fog that's bright enough to look like a white flash. Then set it to trigger toggle and have it turn on for a short second for a flashing effect. Only prob is that it would affect an entire area :\
